ECHO HILL'S MADALINE --1 CH Leg
08', 2ND gen., 62.5/37.550%
Madeline began her life and show career on a good friend's farm.  In 2010 we were very lucky to have her come home, where she gave us a gorgeous black and white spotted buck "Moses," and settled into our herd.  We didn't show Madeline this year, even though she freshened with a gorgeous, milky udder.  Madeline became sick right before the show and spent several weeks recovering.  We have very high hopes for her in 2011.

Bonny is a favorite on the farm.  I had sold her as a kid, then regretted as she became one of my favorite pets...This year she freshened with a milky gorgeous udder (better teats than her dam).  She also gave us two wonderful kids.  Bonny is short bodied, but deep and very well put together with a excellant width.  Her udder is soft, well balanced and easy to milk, although Bonny sometimes forgets her purpose on the stand.  Her daughter is a very typey moon-spotted girl we have retained for our herd.  Bonny will be excellant for controlling height in our breeding program, and although I felt her ears were a hair too short to qualify for "American" status, she does not impede ear length on her kids.

Isabella had been a gift to my niece, and was the sister to one of my best does (Foxy Lady).  I have recently have the honor of having Isabella back with us.  She is an absolute lady to handle and milk, with a beautiful, soft udder.  Her past kids have been strong in breed character, so I'm looking forward to what she is going to do for us.

Emmy has been away from us for several years in a friend's herd, and we are blessed to have her back with us.  She has a powerful milking pedigree and milks a gal + daily.  I don't care for her teat size so we breed her to bucks to hopefully correct this.  Her depth and body capacity and strength/power are among her strongest assets.  She as equisite breed character which she pases on to her kids.  We have her daughter Madeline in our herd as well.

We had sold Missy as a kid, and missed her greatly.  When her owner was willing to make a trade so we could have her back, we jumped at the chance.  Thank you Lynn for your generousity as we had lost these lines.  Missy freshened for Lynn last year with a beautiful well attached udder and excellant teat placement. Her udder is soft and easy to milk.  Missy produced two beautiful kids for Lynn, with exceptional color.  We are really looking forward to what she will produce for us.
